Product design hints

Context

I started this project during my internship, at the very beginning of my journey into the UX/UI world. As I immersed myself in study, I realized how much I lacked a practical compendium, a "hands-on" guide that could easily explain how to approach design to a beginner, and offered simple yet effective exercises.

While I explored resources like Figma Playgrounds, they didn't quite go deep enough into the complex topics I wanted to master, such as the vast world of Accessibility. This drove me to build my own repository of examples, exercises, and insights—not only for my personal growth but as a tool to welcome and guide future colleagues. The slides you see here are the result of that effort.

Another opportunity

My passion for crafting, drawing and design eventually merged with my annual participation in Inktober! For years, I’ve used their prompts to challenge myself in the production of high-fidelity wireframes and UI components, alongside my traditional ink drawings. This year, I decided to take it a step further: Why not turn some of these prompts into UX-UI chibi|cutie|puccipucci but also useful and practical clues?

That spark led to the creation of "Squeaky Hints", a minimal and funny collection of actionable design insights. I selected - for this year - four key themes and you can find them below in the next chapter. I hope these hints can serve as a practical guide for anyone looking to dive into the world of UX/UI design, offering clear and concise advice to navigate the complexities of creating user-centered digital experiences, also perhaps prompting further reflection on our design choices! 🌻🐦‍⬛️
